Bob and I took our big yaks to a spot that he did real well on Sunday.
When I started throwing, the perch were eating. It was one after the other with very few misses. Same with Bob...
Then the wind and waves started up and they virtually shut down. Tide was at high by then.
We really had to work at it to get them.....but we did get a bunch just not hat we were looking for.
Bob is on top of the leader board for the SRRKC WP tourney and he was looking for fish greater than 11.15". He got some 11s but they were of no help.
I was looking for fish 11" or bigger. I caught a bunch of 10s and 10.5s but not what I was looking for.
I did catch a little striper and 4 channel catfish, one of which destroyed my lure.
The biggest knocked the hook out as I was trying to boga him.
Good fun for sure!

When I caught the bigger one, it was on my lightest rod. I thought it was going to snap in 1/2!
Once I got him to the boat, he had dragged me out away from the fishing zone by at least 50 yards....
