7-24-17, Deale

Today, I took Mustafa and the boys (Zane & Ameene) out for some white perch fishing!

It was windier than what they had predicted and that wind was coming from the north (predicted SW). Aargh!! And....the ramp fee in now $20...was $15 before.

OK, enough of that...let's get to the fishing.

Plan A (cove) got the skunk off but produced no other fish.

Plan B was the jetty and we got some nice keepers!

Plan C (outflow) produce zilch.

Plan D (Herring Harbor) produced nada! And it was starting to get rough.

Plan E was the Spanish house but the wind made it too rough to even try so we went back in to Plan A & B but it was sloooow!

Then the wind started to come out of the SW and the bay laid down so back to Plan E we went and am I glad we did. It was still a little choppy but we really got into them there. Lots of 9's and 10's and very few throwbacks. Lots of quality.

The kids had a blast (as did their dad and uncle)!!

On the way back, each of them got to drive the boat. They were spent but they were grinning!

Great day out despite the goofy forecast. Once it got hot, we came on in.

Oh...lunch was made by Mustafa's wife. Hmmmmm good! Sorry but forgot to take a picture of the sammie.

Grandma is getting a dozen fat perch for a nice masgouf!

Those boys are getting bigger there Dad. Hmm,, make them chain smoke cigarettes as they say it stunts the growth. And the money you spend on tobacco will offset the lower grocery bill. Not a good idea.

Good work on some tasty WP.

It was an awesome day! Kids had a blast with Amoo (uncle) Ernie!

They are still talking about it! Today when they went to play with the neighborhood kids, they gave them the full report!

God bless you Ernie for helping create these awesome memories

Thanks everyone for the kind words!
