Goose Creek - 6/27/08

Went out to Goose Creek today to fish and hike (the latter because I got curious). I got off to a fast start with 2 LMB in 3 casts with the biggest going 1.5 lbs. As I moved north (towards the Potomac) the bite slowed down. I ended up with 4 LMB and I caught my very first smallmouth. He wasn't huge, but he was brown!

I hiked from the Riverside/Landsdowne overpass north past the Riverpoint access to Goose Creek and back. It was hot, but enjoyable and I strongly recommend it for anybody.

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!
