Crab Creek...no not Crabby Patties

So, I get's this call from Pete..."Hey, Tiger Muskie's are nice, but not a real smart fish...."

Me:  Okay, Pete...where are you going with this?
Pete:  Well, if you really want to show me that you can fish...ya' need to do some technical presentation fishing...really wild trout...
Me:  Sure, what do you have in mind?
Pete:  We need to go chase Red Band Rainbow's....in Crab Creek!!!

(Crab Creek is near Moses Lake and is part of the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge.  Redband trout are a group of three recognized subspecies of rainbow trout. They occur in three distinct regions in Pacific basin tributaries and endorheic basins in the western United States. The three subspecies are the Columbia River redband trout, the McCloud River redband trout and the Great Basin redband trout.)

Okay, cut to the good stuff...we caught a dozen of these beautiful wild trout using 3wt and 4wt rods.  #18-#22 nymphs and dry's barbless of course.....and little bitty squirrel fur streamers.  Fish were between 12" - 18"'s...with one just below 20"...yeah, a real heart stopper.
