John and I set out to do what we did last week, this time with a fly rod in tow.

While it looked like it was going to rain, it was a nice, cool morning.

We got to the spot and after a few minuted I landed a nice, fat 16"er!

Good sign for things to come! We worked the area hard and this is all we got!

So we made a move and tried 5-6 more spots to no avail.

By this time, it was after lunch so I decided to run up Goose where John got one on the fly and on a tube!

Slim pickings for sure. Not sure if they moved or were just not biting as we got very few taps.

Good day out before some heavy rain to come!

Guess you wore them out from the last two trips. Still looks like a fun day though.
