George and I decided to hit the 'Doah in his canoe. We got on the water before 7:00am and the water was up a bit, but nice and green for the most part. Weather was perfect, with highs in the 70's and mostly overcast. I got the skunk out of the boat early with a dink on a new Storm Subwart I got on EBay. It was pretty consistent from there. Catch a few (3-10 fish), move a little, catch a few (3-10 fish) all day long. George caught the most fish, most different kinds (Smallies, LM, Catfish, Rock Bass) and the biggest one landed (18"). I caught All Smallies except one Sunfish, but I caught mine on the most different lures (4 different crankbaits, craws, tube, swimbaits and one on a spinnerbait). We did not count, but we caught a lot of fish and had a blast. Most were smaller, but George was having a blast with his fluke bite. We caught several 14-17" fish and I lost the biggest fish of the day that bit a craw and jumped twice before I lost it at the boat trying to land it in the net (did not want to cooperate). I won't say it was a C class, but it looked very close. We got off the water about 6:00pm.
Some pics.

I'm still sore today, but also still smiling and was ready to hit the water again today - but the wifey had other plans
John's a great float partner and we had made some good times on the water
I can't remember a day when the numbers were so high and the fishing was so good on that stretch of water

Nice fishes!

Wow I'm not sure what's more impressive, the amount of fish caught, or the amount of time spent in a kayak! Great post
