April 30th Double Report

Today's trip was a great trip not for the fish missed and those caught but for the company on board. What a great crew. They laughed at my stupid jokes and kept a totally positive attitude. We caught s lots of cats and some nice bass and a few keeper sized YP. But no crappie. Until the last hour and half and we scored many crappie with a few throw backs. Lost a as many as we landed and laughed it off. Wind against the tide made for a sporty ride home.

Another hot day of fishing.  The weather that is,  not the fishing.  Bobby's is a very veteran crew that can make even the slowest fishing fun.  I love taking these guys out.  Second gar of the year landed.  You can see Bobby didn't want to risk gar teeth so,  he's squeezing pretty good.  Chandler left a lit cigar on the edge of the seat and then accidently lean back into the hot end.
