Saturday bay report

Fished out of Solomons on the fly. First stop Cedar Point and not enough moving water. Wind north and bay southbound built up kinda high.

Ran to Power plant and got dinks in the wash.. Ran to about four spots up in Pax and got zipped.

Nice people , no pics, and it got warm in the end.

Re: Saturday bay report

You know Josh it happens, but I refuse to give up sometimes. But that is just me..

Missed casts and missed targets leaded to a tough day..

But let me remind all you out there that a slow day you learn more..

At one point we had 30 inch convict bass in two feet of water looking for a meal and the big gonzo fly fell two feet behind the convict.

Dang..\\

Why do we always keep coming back? It happens to me all the time! You just never know just what might be lurking out there.

BTW, you should post one of those prehistoric looking fish you catch once in a while in the Potomac!

Re: Saturday bay report

We keep coming back to fishing the same way a golfer returns to the course. Because 1 out of 100 shots is memorable and it reinvigorates the passion that we have developed over the years.

A bad day on the water is better than a great day in the office!

If it were easy, they'd call it catching!

Re: Saturday bay report

Why go back? Simple answer ... even a long fishless day is more fun than a short honeydo list
