4-20-17, Occoquan

Bob and I met up at 7:30a for another shot at the shad. The water was much clearer this time and we got some rain early. Tide was dead low for a bit.

Shad, herring and stripers (small) were on the menu.

It was not hot and heavy for sure but we picked at 'em. I caught 15 or so, Bob was up in the 25+ range. They definitely were picky, I've never had this many mini bites! They were deeper than the previous 2 trips.

Nevertheless, we were on the water and had a good time.
