I met George at the ramp and by 8, he was ready to hop in!

Man, it was a spectacular (but chilly) morning!!

George was loving the front....

....and he hooked up 1st!

Not big but the 1st smallie on the new ride!

We worked some ledges and the shoreline with maybe 1 bite for the 2 of us. Finally, I got to where I've been trying to go to for a month...the breaks!

Nothing there but one bite that George thinks was a catfish.

After a nice lunch....

....we headed up river and fishied around Edwards Ferry and into Goose Creek. Maybe 1 bite there.

I am blaming the full moon for the lack of bites. We threw everything at 'em!  Water temp started out at a hair over 60 and was 64 by the time we put out.

I sure hope the smallies start biting soon in that stretch....

Hey, that's my section!  Tough times right now.  Must be a 'tweener time for the smallies.  Shoulda gone or started further upriver is my guess.  Glad to see you guys got out for a ride!

Most of the reports indicate slow fishing....but 1 fish? I was perplexed at the lack of bites.

But....we will persist!
