We headed out to the Potomac for the official practice day for our bass tourney. We launched later in the day with the hope of identifying an afternoon pattern that we could rely on when the tide started going out and the sun was high in the sky. We ended up spending most of our time in the Occoquan River area that allowed us to establish a decent bite. We probably landed half a dozen keepers up there with the biggest around two pounds. That bite gave us some afternoon confidence that we could use for the tourney on the next day.
