7-16-16, Severn River

Sounds like a broken record....

Bob and I picked up a straggler, Curly, and we hist the Severn for some keeper perch. The rule was to keep everything over 10.5"!

It was a nice morning....

...but we knew it was supposed to get hot.

We bee lined it to the radio towers and in no time, we were catching keepers.

Curly thought he caught Moby Perch when this guy hit him!

Bob was keeping up as well....

As it's been for the last few years, the fishing was not red hot but we were catching some nice ones for sure. And I think it was harder today as we had virtually no movement in the water with a near flat tide.

We made a move to the salt pond and caught some more and then Curly's rod and reel started screaming. No way it can be a perch but a nice striper!

Bob kept catching as well and got a nice PS along with smallest fish honors!

He also caught a nice pickle that came unbuttoned boat side.

Great day for sure but it did get hot on us so the A/C sure felt good on the way home.

Hmm, I was trying to catch up with the cool kids that say "dat ____ though" where it is referring to the thing in the blank  in a positive way. Maybe I did it wrong. #embarrasingdad lol

In normal talk: Looks super delicious!!! big_smile
