Occoquan River Question
Planning to get the kayak out Monday for the first time this year. Thinking about going to the Occoquan River for shad and whatever. Has anyone been there lately or heard if the shad are still there?

Went Wednesday. Shad are there, but that's about all I found. No stripers 
.

JR went Wednesday afternoon and got some shad.....

I was there over the weekend again and caught some Shad, they are still lurking. Not as thick as they were a few weeks ago, but still there.
