3-26 Striper Trip on Potomac

Was going to hit DC waters, but changed plans at the last minute.  Went a little south of DC near Mt. Vernon.  Lines in the water by 7am.  First fish was not until around 8:30. Only 19".

A little later we have a double hookup.....a 21" and a fat 23".

Then, the runt of the pack at a whopping 13".

We did catch a nice 3+ lb LMB somewhere in between stripers, but it was not what we were after and it went back in the water quickly without a pic.

Got beat up a little bit in the wind and had a number of waves crash over the bow while trolling.  Bilge pump got a good workout lol !
