May 24th Report

First bubba LGMouth trip of the year out of Smallwood Park. First run was south to Wades Bay and we got nothing. "Guide fails" will be anounced in all the major papers kept going thru my mind. So we move back in Mallows and still nutin.. I pull out the bobbers and shinners and made a young man smile with fish after fish after fish. Lots of yellow perch, whites, cats, two small bass and a gar that wiggled off the hook. Later we head for warmer waters and scored some nice LGMouth.

Papers now read "Guide still good"

Whew... that was close..
