Monster Bass

Caught the biggest bass of my life. Did not have a scale but she was VERY heavy and FELT like a ten pounder. Didn't really matter what the weight was as I was just happy to take a quick pic, give her a kiss and hurry up and let the beautiful fish go. She was safely released to fight another day!! smile

Re: Monster Bass

Yes, caught it on an ultralight with 6 pound line. Many years of carp fishing on that set up taught me how to use the drag to land big fish

Re: Monster Bass

Amazing fish! Must have been even more amazing on the UL! That thing looks like it can fit your head in its mouth!  Going to be tough to beat that PR.
Side note, I miss carp fishing. I need to do that again soon.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.

Re: Monster Bass

I've been busy moving my daughter into her dorm at VA Tech so my apologies for the delayed responses. I hope to get out on the water in search of his daddy or big brother smile
