6-26-15, Severn River

The numbers are back!

George and I put in at Spa Creek and were on the water by 7AM.

Of course, we stopped at the condos and immediately took the skunk off with multiple perch! Forgot obligatory 1st fish pic.....

George had not fished here before so we took some time to look around....

....that is a big boat! I'm talking about the Center Console.

We then hit the towers which only produced 1 fish 2 weeks ago.

Not today!

We had steady action on our 1st drift through with fish up to 9 3/4"!

We went out to see if we could make the run across and it looked good...

....but before that, we decided to fish the other side of the radio towers. For some reason, I had never done that before. Only 1 WP and then this nice 19 incher!

So we started to go across but the wind picked up and we aborted so we went to Tolly Pt where we fund some marks but all we did is get rocked around and bumped by bait fish.

So back in we went and hit the towers for another drift.

1st cast and George nails a striper....

We then caught many more perch on the rocks and the wood.

Now it was time to head into the Severn....Brewer 's Pond was the target. It was nice and calm, the tide was coming in and we caught a ton of perch up to 11.25"!

George was hammering them in there....I had a hard time keeping up.

I also managed a fat cat....a 1st for me in that pond.

We finished up at a dock with some grass and got a few and then headed in. Of course, we each wanted to catch one more at the condos...and we did! High 5's were in order!

It was great to get some good numbers....we figured at least 100 if not more.

And we topped it off with some Ledo's Pizza!

No rain....cool temps...lots of fishies all made for a great day on the water!
