Beaverdam 6/6

I was only able to make it out for an hour, and not as early in the morning as I was hoping. I didnt catch anything. There were a number of people fishing around the shore. I only saw one guy catch a bass, which he took home, maybe about 1.5#. I did see a bass jump two feet straight up into the air! It looked to be about 2#. It was really an axing thing! Needless to say o started throwing top water at that point but no luck. Still a beautiful morning to be outside fishing.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.

Re: Beaverdam 6/6

I was out there in my kayak yesterday.  The water level was the same as the weekend before.  I did see water spewing out from the drain.  Not sure what's happening with that.  But there is definitely a valve open keeping the water level where it is.  Good for shore fishers.  I just hope it doesn't allow that reedy shoreline plant to spread further out.

I caught one 14" LMB and some smaller ones, and some perch.  My girlfriend caught a green sunfish and some perch.

And then the winds came, stronger and earlier than what was forecasted.
