SR LMB

Who says South Riding does not have descent bass? Caught this guy (gal, after sweeping the bed thus the tail blood?) this morning during a light sprinkle - just over 19.25" and 3.34lbs. I landed 3 smaller ones last night before the thunderstorms and decided to pop over after the rains to see if the bait fish were all stirred up and the bass were feeding. I threw a Zoom fluke baby bass on a finesse spinning rig and had a small few strikes and then switched to a casting rod with a weightless 4" Lake Fork Ring Fry in green pumpkin....on my second cast, wham! I took a quick weight and measurement and then got her back in the water but I guess the fight was really exhausting because after I revived her for awhile she just sat there suspended for a good couple of minutes before finally moving off. Made for a nice pic though.

Nice.  I think I know that pond.  There are some 5 lbers I caught in 2 different ponds in the hood.

Re: SR LMB

Did you lose a top water field mouse lure at that pond?
