Shenandoah Opinion

Thinking of doing a Shenandoah float trip at Front Royal on Monday. No rain there for next few days. Water is in normal range at 2.76', clarity is clearing, and  a.m. water temp is 58. Sunny and mild with high of 81 on Monday. My question: with those conditions would you expect the fishing to be better in the morning or the afternoon.

Thanks.

Re: Shenandoah Opinion

Yes.  Sorry, no real good answer as the weather will be warm coming into Monday, so go when you can and enjoy!

Re: Shenandoah Opinion

Actually got on the raft at about 10am. Floated from Karo Landing back to Front Royal Canoe Co. landing. Water was running fast so trip was quick and we were unable to fish some of our best spots because of the fast drift speed. Only landed 2 smallies and one large fallfish. Probably our worst results ever on the Shenandoah, but it sure was a beautiful day.
