NSH with Odenkirk 3-24

Put in at Pohick and it was a cold ride across the river to look for snakeheads and bass.  Ended up with 4 NSH and 65 bass tagged and released.  Netted 8 crappie that I fileted when I got home.....they were all 11-14".  Two nice packs of fish for dinner in the net few days!  Here is one of the NSH........Not many have come out of the mud hibernation yet.

Surprising that the crappie were that close to shore to get shocked up unless you guys went deeper.

In mid March big crappie move shallow. I mean 4-8 feet and feed up. More 14 inch plus crappie have been caught in Mid March for the last 20 plus years for me. Numbers come in April.

Not on fish! lol  Used to adjust the anode booms in place on the boat to get the correct depth and angle in the water for the current (electricity) flow.
