3-22-15, 1st Hickory Shad of the year.....
Got this report from Chris Campo on Sunday:
Mr. Rojas,
I caught my first hickory shad of the year by the fall line in Richmond today. 
As far as I know the few fish caught today are the first of the year here in Richmond on the James. I landed one and lost one at the bank fishing solo this afternoon. I was using a hand tied 1/16th ounce chartreuse/red/white shad dart I picked up at the tackle swap you took me too about a year or so back.
Hopefully they'll be up in the Potomac soon.

Well that face looks familiar! I plan on hitting the river a few more times this week, so hopefully I'll have a more in depth report up shortly.
