3-14 report

Still a lot of ice over my favorite spots, so I headed for the back end of Cedar.  Nada.  Then BigJeffie showed up and schooled me on very fat and healthy 12" or so bass.  I did manage a bluegill, but Jeff had them figured out.

Re: 3-14 report

I ended up w close to a dozen.

They were all short but chunky.

4# line, a light rod, and a very long winter-then the bonus of sharing the moments with Mr , made for a happy day.

I went over to Chantilly and hit somw marginally better fish- and lost one in the 2# plus class

Way to break the long dry spell! Nice dark colors on that fish.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
