In case you don't get Capt. Mike's emails....

This summer the good days to fish are going to be during a high tide at sunset or a low tide at sunset. The major difference is the low tide is better for fly fishing and the high for spin fishing. Capt Dave and I will provide ribs and chicken at 3pm before heading out. Groups of 4 can be accommodated with two boats available. Often we find entire groups of Potomac Pike and with two boats we can zero in the on that group. Many pesky LGMouth  will also be caught. Prices for a two person evening trip have gone up for the first time in 10 years. A whole 25 bucks to $275.00 per boat.

Some customers say the ribs and chicken are the best part of the trip.. They are very good but I say the golden hours when any topwater lure gets hit are the best part of the trip.
This is a list of the days open and suggested.

June
High Tide 13th and 14th
Low Tide 6th and 7th

July
High Tide 16th and 17th
Low Tide 25th and 26th w/ Capt Dave

August
High Tide 1st and 2nd, Extreme high (best days of year) 27th, 28th, 29th and Capt Dave has the 30th open.
Low Tide 8th, 9th, 22nd and 23rd

P.S. Monday and Tuesday the rib shack is closed so avoid booking those days.

Thank you
Capt Mike

Send a quick email to me at mstarrett@earthlink.net and I will add you to my Summer Evening Trip spam list.. Well not really a spam, but with every snowfall that happens at Casa De Starrett in beautiful downtown Acckeek I send out an email like the one above. So you may get two a year. Last year it was many..

Thanks
Capt Mike

Just in case you wanna go!

With the recent snow comes another update. If you fly fish or love using poppers and spook baits low tide days are the best.

This is a list of the days still open and suggested:

June
High Tide 13th (Capt Dave) and 14th
Low Tide 6th (Capt Dave) and 7th

July
High Tide 16th
Low Tide 25th (Capt Dave) and 26th (Capt Dave)

August
High Tide 1st and 2nd, Extreme high (best days of year) 27th
Low Tide 8th, 9th, 22nd and 23rd

P.S. Monday and Tuesday the rib shack is closed so avoid booking those days.

Thank you

I'm super extremely interested!! This may be my last year to go before I make huge financial commitments (e.g. buying my first home yikes)
