I used to love fishing that creek.  I hope it continues to thrive.  Still see illegals with throw nets?

I love that popper color!

I watched baseball last night...Gio threw a 7 inning 1-hit shutout, 12 strikeout masterpiece.

The Redskins played?

Nice! The scenery in that last shot looks gorgeous! What's the best way to access the creek by foot?

Good call Ernie!

Illegals are still around from time to time.

i usually access at Kephart Landing in Lansdowne.  You can walk the path and fish up or down.

I said every couple of years.... back in the 80s he used to have to walk all the way back to that spot. in May of 1987 I had one of my best days for fish.ing ever there. it had been a wet spring. pin may the creek finally went down enough to be fishable.
with an ultralight rig and simple grubs I am bird fish all day long. big strong River blue gills spotted bass smallmouth bass and rock bass
