July 27 th Report Part 2

It was warm but overcast at launch.  A nice fat largemouth in the first 15 minutes and we thought we were in for some nice fishing.  Oooo boy...were we wrong.  Another five plus hours of casting and we were  beat.  The fish did turn on somewhat in the shadow hour.  A few real, nice blow ups and one lost after hookup,  a big spooked snakehead and we called it a night.  A great regular customer and a heck of a caster but,  the fish had other plans.  Always a pleasure fishing with him.  Nine and a half hours over two days of push poling and I am beat.
