Mason Neck Car Top Launch
Has anyone launched their kayak from the car top launch ramp in Mason Neck State Park? Looks like you launch into an unnamed small creek which flows into Kane Creek...or not. Was thinking of giving it a try this week but have never been there. Would appreciate any insights from someone who has tried to fish there.

The car top launch puts you right into Belmont Bay. You would have to paddle along the northern shoreline of the bay to get to the mouth of Kane's Creek. The shore near the ramp is very shallow and gets congested with weeds so that can be difficult sometimes but it's not that bad. Lots of people do it and I've done it in my Jon boat.
