Well the tide was right and so back we went deep into the dead pads..lots of dead pads..but just below the water line is a whole new set of fresh pads emerging. We found 3 Potomac Pike and fed them toads and hollow bodies. All three did get not get hooked well enough to land. Good fights but they shook the hook each time. It was an hour later and a pesky LGMouth was landed.
Later we came across a group of four Potomac Pike that nipped and never really hit, but man did they rush our lures.. heart just about jumped out our chest..what a rush.
The rain started and boy did it turn the pesky LGMouth on. Several would run 20 feet to eat out lures. Many chunky dark golden LGMouth till after dark.. Great ending...Lost count of how many we landed.

You have already caught a Pike....a Potomac Pike which is what Capt. Mike calls snakeheads.
Musky are close by a as well...I have never chased them but there are some on this forum that have.
