Prework fishing 7/2

I went out early this morning to try and find that top water action. I was using a walk-the-dog type but wasn't getting any love hmm. Perhaps I didn't try hard enough. I ended up spending more time with a wacky rigged stick worm instead. I caught 5 all about 12", but one was a lot chunkier than the rest. I usually catch half that number so I had great time even though they didn't have much size to them. It was fun on light tackle too! I was also able to put to practice several things I learned from planb when he was here several months ago, including skipping a stick worm, and they all produced big_smile! I'm still learning from things he as I'm going over them in my mind, or when I'm out and I am in a scenario he described. I'm very grateful for people sharing their knowledge and experiences.

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
