6/4-5

I was able to enjoy the weather the past two evenings. First day I went after the bluegill with my fly-spinning setup. I caught 10 in about 45 minutes. The bite slowed down towards the end because they tore up that fly! I was too lazy to tie on a new one, plus it was getting dark.

Today I went looking for some bass and found none, none that wanted what I had to offer at least sad I did see a couple with thier young son keeping bluegills. They were decent in size. I told them they couldn't keep fish from the lake. I think they got the message but they had a decent amount of fish and i didn't stick around to see if they continued fishing. I need to brush up on my foreign language.

Re: 6/4-5

Nice BGs.

I can help with the Spanish lessons but in reality, thinning out BGs is not a bad thing. A few years back, when we had the big fish kill to Tippicanoe, we removed many a BG from Cedar to restock Tippy. In my opinion, you take one out and 2 more grow back.

Time to go fishin' again!
