Goal 1/4

I went fishing Friday morning before work and was able to break the skunk at one the lakes! There was a lot of fish feeding on the surface along the shoreline. I caught them on a Texas rigged stick bait. Caught about 7 tiny bass and 1 that was maybe a pound. I missed a few more because I didn't really set the hook. I usually just reel, I don't have that bass master hookset tongue

On one of the casts I was swimming the bait in top of the water parallel to the shore and a larger bass came up and slammed it! It was really cool to see. Unfortunately the worm had had enough and tore off and the fish spat the hook. I had to leave them biting. All in all it was a fun time, and was warm enough where I didn't need a jacket!

Together we'll fight the long defeat.
