3-12-14 Crappie, Part II

Hit the pond again on the way home from work.  Caught several with an 11" and a 12" to boot.  Top 5 went 53.5" big_smile .

Typo that it will not let me fix.  Can you change that 11 to a 3 as the administrator?

Awesome! What is your crappie setup! If you don't mind me asking? I see a split shot and a jig? I tried a crappie jig but no luck.

1/32 oz jighead with 1" soft plastic body........1/16 oz splitshot 5" above that..........bobber 30-36" above jig.  Just jig it back after casting and pause 3-4 seconds between jigging.  Wait for bobber to go completely under big_smile .
