That is awesome! Just over 74lbs per year. Wow!
When I lived in NY in the early 90's we had a good run of bluefin "footballs" a couple miles off the NJ coast. My brother and I tagged a few. One that I caught was returned and NOAA sent me a letter and a nice hat. However, we tagged them with shark tags and they asked us not to do that.
That fish was not swimming around nearly as long as the one in this story. I caught it in July/August and it was re-captured later that same year in November off Rhode Island.
We tagged striped bass, a bunch of bluefin and lots of sharks over several years and never got a return. Fun to get one.

Very cool John.....I have caught a couple of tagged stripers and it's neat finding out where they came form. Unfortunately, the ones I caught were only tagged within a couple of years of my catching them.
That tuna is impressive....
