Hunting in the snow

Got a chance to hunt in the snow earlier this week.  Pretty rare around these parts to get a snow during hunting season.  It was nice to sit in the stand with everything so quite.  So quite that no deer came by though.  Supposed to snow this Saturday morning too.............but I don't know if I'll get a chance to get out.  Here's a couple pics from the stand.

Re: Hunting in the snow

I made it out yesterday (saturday) for a few hours and all I got was cold and wet.

Re: Hunting in the snow

Hunting in the snow is the best since you can see through the woods clearly and they stand out!  Too bad nothing came by for you.  I always try to make it out for a snow day, so we'll see if my schedule permits me.  Stay focused and good luck!
