Had two great fisherman down to fish the weekend and we caught some fish. First day we caught 6 species and second day 7 species. Lots of pics.
Awesome weekend.

I'd like to see a cross between an bowfin and a NSH........that would be a beast!

I love the spots on that red, the size of that perch and wonder about the NSH looking fish.....

Bowfin and snakeheads in the same place?

Looks like the Potomac Pike have made their way down there too, eh? I hope the grennels don't get too jealous of their pretty spots.

Could you imagine the THUG that would result in the spawn of bowfin and snakehead??

Get in it into the boat. It kicks your ass and breaks your rod, eats your PBJ, back in the water laughing.

I notice that you use the gripper for the bowfin but just man handle the snakeheads. Are bowfin that much more angry?

I have yet to catch a snakehead, but the bowfin is the only fish I've caught that I was scared of after landing it. Where is this crazy place with snakehead, bowfin and redfish?

Both are a handful once in the boat and my bogus grips keep the teeth from your feet and hands. Some fisherman like me and Joe Bruce have the GI Joe Kung Fu Grip..

I can see where that would come in handy for handling a whopper
