4-30-08, Potomac River Smallmouth Club (PRSC) meeting

April will bring the return of an "old" member of PRSC, when Jeff Kelble comes back to talk to the club about his home river The Shenandoah.  Jeff primarily wants to divulge what he's observed and learned about the recovery of our smallmouth in the Shenandoah, where to fish, what to expect and what the future likely holds.  Jeff had made predictions about big contest totals coming out of certain places on the river and he's prepared to be uncharacteristically specific in an effort to get club members "re-interested" in the Shenandoah.

Around the turn of the millennium Jeff held PRSC positions as President, Vice President, Conservation Chair and Buzz Editor.  Many of you may also have gotten to know him while he was a smallmouth bass guide.  Currently Jeff is the Shenandoah Riverkeeper, and serves on the Shenandoah River Fish Kill Task Force.  He spends his work life trying to figure out how to fix a very broken, but very beautiful river.  He's rooting for a big turnout, and always loves the opportunity to get in front of club members and says he misses being an integral part of the club

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:30 PM at the Vienna Fire Station on Center Street.

Before the meeting, please join some of the seedier members of the club at the Vienna Inn for some good eats!

Time to go fishin' again!
