I had a couple of hours before church yesterday so i spent it on the water between the mail pond and the lower lake in the village. I was smelling pretty skunky until i switched skirts on my chatter box jig. I swapped a white/yellow to a black and blue fleck and the very next cast the fight was on. I have pulled this girl out 4 times in the past 2 seasons. This is by far the earliest i have seen her, she was lively and full of fight.
Its time like these i wish i had help for the photo..I did my best!
when i got to the village ponds it was too late in the afternoon and the wind was howling. I couldn't keep my bait out of the green monster (algae). I made a couple casts up on the water return and nothing so i called it a day. Good luck and great Fish!!
