Took my crappie pole out looking for some Crappie at various ponds buy could not find any. I thought that they would be spawning in the shallows by now but I guess my timing is off. I did have alot of action with some nice Bluegills. I must have caught about 15-20 of them, all hand sized chunks with nice, depp colors. They could get enough of my muddling minnows tipped with a piece of gulp grub. I also caught a bass on the pole as well which is rare. All in all, it was a nice day to be out fishing in a long time!! I hope to do some carp fishing soon!!
