5-5-13 More Algonkian smallies

Still too windy for my boat on the lower Potomac.  Fished above Algonkian and caught about 10 smallies.  Lost another nice one that jumped and threw my tube.  Here are the 3 best.

We gotta get something going.....I'm thinking Memorial Day (May 27).....go early, short 4-5 hour float and beat the crowds.

I think Tyler and I would be up for it again.  But I am not going all the way down to the dam this time!!!  That is a long paddle back!  What about dropping off upstream and then picking up downstream?

Memorial Day sux at Algonquian.

That's the time to drive a bit further for some peace & solitude

I got the place & its local

Totally agree....in the past we have done Algonkian from 6am to 11a. Then it gets wild.

I am all ears.....
