Striper Fishing at Chesapeake Beach

Went on an annual office trip to the Rod and Reel! lol  Went on Monday since the crazies who know nothing about boating safety are usually out on opening weekend.  The winds were heavy as they were over the weekend and the fishing was tough.  None of our shallow rigs were taken although we marked a lot of really big fish.  All our catches were on the deep boat rods.  We were the only ones to come in with more than 2-3.  All had nice big bellies.....I'm not in the photo....but I'm taking it! hahaha  A big thanks to our captain Preston on Rock n Robin.

Cool. Of what you caught, looks like half spawned out?   Was out this weekend on sat.  Crazy wind, even lost a guy over board leaving the inlet in a 27' boat after we smacked a piling.  Got him changed and went back out.  Good fishing, all light tackle casting, caught over our limit.  Kimbro is nuts and a die hard.
