Cedar, 4-21-13

I took the 7wt out for bass and could not buy a hit....must have used 5-6 different flies.

So I want back in and got the 4wt to see about a few blue gill. Well....I could not keep the bass off my fly. I used the same beat up blue speckled fly the whole time and the bass tore it up.

I believe I caught at least 10 bass with the largest going 15".

But I did catch 6 BGs. One was small, two were just under 8" and three made the grade (8,8 & 8.25")!

I think the lake will be on fire for BGs for the tourney....it was a little slow for them today. But I was happy with the size results.
