Saturday, March 23

Pondering Fletcher's; jigging for WP,cats and stripies plus fly for shad......

Little Falls is predicted at 5.1', ideally like 4.5'.....

Will be in the 30's early, supposed to get in to the low 50's.....

Or, I can finish my taxes......

Perhaps....maybe I can do them Sunday. I would love to find those walleyes near Key Bridge. Or maybe a nice scenic boat ride....

Re: Saturday, March 23

Best shot at walleyes is:

1) the flat above 3 sisters on the right side (15-20 feet deep) or

2) in the current between the white sign and the rocks straight across from Fletchers boathouse.

That's where I've caught some big walleyes jigging a bucktail for stripers in early April.

Let's keep an eye on the weather......not really wanting to go out if it's only in the 40's and windy.

Good rule of thumb..... if Topper calls for rain and snow, that's the time to go.

Agreed on Topper's forecast.

Just heard back from the NHBA guys. They had their 1st tourney today.....only 3 keepers. Cold water and muddy.

Re: Saturday, March 23

We know blue cats are biting, we know the 1sh shad is here (along with white perch) and we kmow walleye are around.

I could care less if I get skunked.....I just want the cold weather to go away. That is the only thing that will stop me.

I hope you find them.  I'll be out there once things warm up a bit and water temps have been 50 degrees for a few days big_smile .

I'd be willing to give it a shot. I only have had another 9 days before work gets crazy.

Keep me posted

Re: Saturday, March 23

Weather looking favorable...a bit windy but no worries. I just wish it was warmer but apparently I need to stand in line for that wish.

Email sent to the crew.

Target species- anything that bites. I will have an array of tackle on board.
