Snagged a Rod from Roaches Run

I snagged a rod fishing today at Roaches Run/Duck Pond. Anyone lose one recently??? If so, let me know and I return to its rightful owner!

The rod is in pretty good condition and the reel seems okay but unsure how long it was submerged. If I do not find the owner - i would like to be able to use it since it cost me about 10.00 in lost lures and jig heads trying to pull it out. Any clue if it the reel would be a lost cause or how much it would cost me to get it serviced? I have used the rod and reel repair guy down on Lee Highway for tip replacements before and he seems like he does good work.

Re: Snagged a Rod from Roaches Run

Phil is the owner of Rod & Reel Repair in Arlington. I have taken my stuff to him for 20+ years.....

Let him look at the reel and he will tell you if it is worth fixin'.

Time to go fishin' again!
