St. Jerome's Creek 10/13/2012

I fished St. Jerome's on Saturday morning.  The target - anything that will give a nice fight.  I also would have been a happy angler if I could get some speckled trout on the stringer (that didn't happen).

Well, when I woke up in the morning, it was a nice brisk 33 degrees outside my home in NoVA...luckily it was a bit warmer by the water.  I had my cold gear on for the first time this year, and had a good time.  Here is the story with some pictures:

Nice report Sun!

Personally, I like white perch far better that striper when it comes to table fare.

Time to go fishin' again!

Thanks Ernie!  A couple of those fish were caught on that Abu baitcaster that I got from you.  I like the reel very much!

Yea, I would have to agree that white perch tastes better.  My wife's favorite is actually blue catfish, then crappie, then white perch.
