Date:                                     Friday, October 26, 2012

Meeting Place:                       Patuxent River Bridge Parking Lot, Solomons, Maryland

Guide:                                  Capt. Dennis Fleming (Fishamajig Guide Service)

Time:                                    We will be departing the dock at 7am.

Directions:                          The launch ramp is located beneath the Patuxent River, Route 2-4 Bridge on the north shore of the river.

The Captain:                      Captain Dennis has been fishing Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac River since the early 1970’s. He specializes in light tackle fishing for a variety of species. We will be fishing from a Maycraft 2300 center console equipped with a HDS side scan sonar. Dennis provides all the necessary spinning tackle or you may bring your own light tackle gear or fly rod. The Trip:                              This time of year the fish are on the move following the bait as it moves out of the rivers into the bay. The larger stripers are also returning to feed on the concentrated schools of bait.  There should be good opportunity for top water action as well is deep jigging. This is an opportunity to fish with one of the best light tackle guides in our area. We plan to leave the dock at 7:00 am and fish until 3pm. Please plan to arrive fifteen minutes early as the boat will leave the dock on schedule.

Trip Cost:                             $130.00 per angler. (This assumes three anglers), plus tip.

What to bring:                  Lunch/drinks/raingear. You are welcome to bring your own tackle. If you plan to take your catch home, bring a cooler.

Reservations:                    We expect the trip to sell out quick. We have room for a maximum of three anglers. Next, to hold your spot you need to send in your $130.00 check made out to CCA-NoVa, ASAP to George Lenard, 6834 General Longstreet's Line, Manassas, VA 20109. We need to have your check in hand by Thursday, October 18, 2012 or you will lose your spot to the next person on the waiting list. Sorry about the short time period.
