B & C lakes 09/05

I fished the B and C lakes with 2 other friends this evening.  We had a bet going on between us that whoever caught the biggest fish could take any 1 lure from each of the others' tackle boxes.  We all caught bass and sunfish, but they were all pretty small.  I landed 3 bass and a sunfish, but lost about 4 or 5 fish.  I used plastic grubs and a wacky rigged senko knock-off.  Several of the hookups were by lily pads, and I had a lot of nibbles around the areas where water was springing up.  What is a good, general tactic to fish those lakes?

The winning fish were around 12 or 13 inches.  My friends' catches were equally long, so they ended up taking one lure each from my tackle box (i'm not sure how we came to the conclusion that this was fair...lol).  I lost 2 firetiger crankbaits tonight sad.  It was still fun to get some pullage on my ultralight rod though.
