As always, if any of you have some outdated, unused tackle....bring it on over.
I have been collecting baits (from lots of folks) for a while and re packing them for giveaways.
Many of you have donated in the past....thanks again for that.

Unfortunately, I'll be in South America that Saturday and will not be able to come. Hope everyone catches a big one!

I think that this is a great event to help promote fishing to all ages, but especially youth. In terms of promoting the tournament, have you considered submitting a posting to Viva Loudoun Sports (www.vivloudoun.blogsport.com)? Most people following sports in Loudoun County follow that site, and I know that they put up postings for other events like golf tournaments.
Additionally, with your permission, I'll be pleased to post the tournament details on the Broadlands Community Forum - let me know.
Finally, since this tournament has run for several years now, have you considered establishing a "record breaking" prize? In other words, define the record based on the results of the past tournaments, and if anyone exceeds it, they win a special prize (like a high value gift card to Bass Pro or Dicks)? If no one breaks the record, it's added to and carried over to the Spring tournament. If you can define the current record, I would be willing to contribute to the prize.

Tom- Go ahead and post the info on the Broadlands Community Forum.
We may have all the stats so I will check with their Pres. and VP on the record idea.

Good - I will post it this afternoon . . . can you provide a contact email address in case someone has questions? Also, what is the name of the road that runs between Cedar and Becch? I want to provide some brief directions.
