New Lamiglass Competitor Casting Rod and Used Calcutta 151
I let a guy talk me into a Lamiglas deal and I ended up not liking the rod. I wanted a 6.5ft rod but by the time the guy placed the order all they had were 7ft rods in the power I wanted. I like rods to have a longer handle than this one does (more of a freshwater handle) and so I'd like to offer it here to for the same price I paid - $50. Pretty good deal for a rod with a lifetime warranty (papers included, just took the plastic off to test cast in the yard). It is a 705 MH 3/8-1.5oz rod although I think it'd be more of a 3/8-1oz by the feel of it. The reel pictured on the rod is a Cardiff and I'm keeping that.
Calcutta 151 without box or papers. I upgraded the reel handle to a Cardiff (soft touch knobs) and the drag but it still feels a little jerky for some reason. I'll include the old washers with it if I can dig them out of my box and my guess is that it just needs some drag grease and you'll be good to go. Reel has some surface wear but definitely has a lot of life left in it. $65

Haha no kidding guys. $50 for a Lamiglas seemed too good to pass up. It's a really nice rod, I just wish it had a longer handle, but I think I am in the minority on that in most cases.
Anyone else?

Anyone have a 5xx1 series Abu Garcia with a clicker? I've been looking for one and would gladly trade the rod for that?
The only one I know the older 5601 C4, but I know there have to be more of them because there are so many different Abu models out there.
