White Perch in Severn River, MD (June 23rd)
I fished for tasty White Perch (WP) in the Severn River, MD on June 23, 2012. I am still learning that favorite lures for a particular species varies depending on the waters.
I have my go-to lure for WP under the docks in Severn River. But I tested a few more lures.
I caught 50+ WP for 4.5 hours. The WP were small unexpectedly. I kept 2 @ 9”, 29 @10”, and 2 @ 11” for a block party.

Nice catching....and eating later too!
These are the best shallow water Severn River lures....bar none!
Woody's lures! Not cheap but they last...and catch!

Thanks for the lure info. I think I saw/heard Woody's Lures for WP before. I guess I order 6 and take my neighbors’ kids to Severn River in July. WP fishing is one of the best when taking kids fishing.
