Fathers Day gills

Couldn't stand the thought of watching the Nats drop another one to the hated Yanks....

I spent 45 minutes throwing 5-6 different flies and only 1 hit....then, I went to my Wal-Mart special and nailed a dozen fatties + 1 8" bass in the next 20 minutes or so.

They only wanted a slow sinking spider....would take it as soon as it was out of my sight.

Finicky but fun!

Re: Fathers Day gills

Was this on Cedar and were you wearing a chartreuse t shirt?

"Fish," he said softly, aloud, "I’ll stay with you until I am dead."

Re: Fathers Day gills

Yep...that was me and I also confirmed the color of the shirt. Sorry I didn't catch anything for you....took a while to figure out what they wanted.

Have you fished off that long board?
